High-protein mince pies: which shop-bought pies have the most?
Compare protein in ready-made mince pies per 100g and per pie, with named products, calories and links to the collected labels.
Which mince pies have the most protein?
We have per-100g protein figures for 117 of 198 mince pies and tarts. These are the ten highest recorded values, ordered by protein. Products without a collected figure stay outside this comparison.
Label information checked 26 Oct 2026. This ranks collected measurements, not taste, current stock or eligibility for a high-protein claim.
And how much protein is in one pie?
31 products have a recorded protein value for an explicitly identified single pie. These are the five highest. This is a smaller comparison, so it can have different leaders.
For a shop-bought mince pie, compare grams of protein per 100g first, then check how much is in one pie. A larger serving can provide more protein even when its per-100g figure is lower.
The tables above show the highest recorded values in our catalogue. They cover sweet Christmas mince pies and tarts. Sharing tarts remain in the per-100g comparison, while the per-pie table needs a source that identifies one pie as the portion.
Does more protein make a mince pie high-protein?
“High protein” has a specific meaning on food labels. At least 20% of a food’s energy must come from protein to use that claim. See the conditions for protein claims.
Our tables compare the grams listed on each label. A place near the top does not establish that a product qualifies for a high-protein claim. We haven’t verified a dedicated high-protein Christmas mince pie in this collection.
How much protein is in one mince pie?
Use the manufacturer’s single-pie figure when it supplies one. Pack size alone won’t settle it: a mini pie, a deep-filled pie and a sharing tart are different portions.
We show per-pie protein only when the source identifies a single pie and supplies the measurement. We leave gaps unlisted instead of dividing a pack weight or assuming that 100g equals one pie. The portion descriptions in the second table explain what each number covers.
Check calories alongside protein
The first table shows calories on the same per-100g basis as protein. That lets you compare the labelled composition of different products without switching serving sizes halfway through.
For the rest of the label, open the full nutrition comparison, sorted by protein. It includes sugar and fat, with filters for an exact product or retailer.
Choose the exact pack
Follow a product link for its full collected nutrition, ingredients and seller sources. Frangipane, amaretto and standard mince pies can have different labels even within the same range. A protein ranking also says nothing about flavour or pastry quality. For that, see the mince pies we recommend.
Our product information was checked on 26 October 2026. Some listings have an unconfirmed season, and the collected label may not establish the current formulation. Check the pack you buy, especially if its weight or product name differs.
