Sources and editorial policy

Every substantive product fact should be traceable to the source we checked. The main collection was checked on 26 October 2026. A later website build is not a new inspection of a seller’s page.

The price and review refresh was checked on 31 October 2026. Each verified price carries its own observation date. Where access was blocked or the product match was uncertain, the previous observation keeps its original date. Ingredients and dietary declarations were not all rechecked in that refresh.

Availability and prices

Prices are observations attached to exact packs and sellers. A promotion, member price and regular price are different things. An Add button or accessible listing does not establish stock at your postcode.

Buying links lead to external sellers. Mr Mince Pie does not sell these packs or operate their delivery service.

The public catalogue excludes wholesale-only products and trade-account buying routes. A product stays in the catalogue when we have a public retail route or evidence of a consumer offering. Older source records remain part of the research, without becoming buying recommendations.

Dietary information

We keep ingredients, allergens, “may contain” warnings and dietary labels separate. We do not infer allergy safety or current certification from an incomplete ingredient list.

Where the sources conflict, the product page should say so. The current pack and producer remain important checks before purchase.

Our verdicts

Verdicts are our own opinions, written in our own words. They never claim a firsthand tasting we haven’t done, and they never turn into a score. We don’t copy text from the sources we read.

A verdict built on older seasons says so in plain terms. It isn’t quietly presented as this Christmas’s pie. How we judge explains the rest, and each product’s Sources section lists what we read.

Links and privacy

This preview has no affiliate tracking, advertising scripts or analytics. Comparison selections are stored locally in your browser. Following a seller or source link takes you to that website, which has its own policies.

Product pages retain the collected packaging and product images alongside the top view. Packaging photographs may show an earlier presentation; their presence does not confirm the current recipe or stock.
