What “Not stated” means

The label or listing we checked didn’t say either way. That doesn’t make the pie unsuitable. It means we can’t tell you, so check the pack.

The vegan and gluten-free filters only show pies whose label says so. They never quietly widen to show more results.

Alcohol, nuts and certification

If our copy of the ingredients doesn’t mention alcohol, that isn’t proof the pie is alcohol free. A missing nut warning in our data doesn’t make a pie safe for a nut allergy. A “suitable for vegans” line isn’t the same as a certification.

We don’t have enough halal or kosher information to list products. Check the pack, and ask the producer if you need to be sure.

The catalogue and product pages keep these apart. They don’t replace reading the pack you’re about to buy.
